African American University, Porto Novo, Republic of Benin, will on Friday, November 29, 2019 confer the institution’s honourary doctorate degrees on the Ajalaye of Ipetu Ijesa, in Oriade Local Government of Osun State, HRM, Oba (Dr) Adeleke Agunbiade Oke and four others.
Besides, the Association of the 1988/89 Set of Ipetu Ijesa Grammar School Students would during that weekend, celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Guest speaker at the occasion would be the first black Professor of Graphoanalysis, who is also the Chancellor and President of African American University, Prof Ben Ezeohagwu.
Ezeohagwu, who had his primary education for his first school leaving certificate at St Mary’s Primary School, Ipetu Ijesa, was the Head Boy of Ipetu Ijesa Grammar School, 1988/89 Set.
At the awards ceremony holding at the palace of the royal father by noon, Oba Adeleke Agunbiade Oke would be conferred with PhD (Honoris Causa) in Human Resource Management.
Also to be honoured are his wife, Olori (Dr) Risikat Bola Agunbiade Oke, Phd (Honoris Causa) in Healthcare Management; Dr Jegede Festus Oluwadamilare, PhD (Honoris Causa) in Public Administration; DrAmos Ojo Adebayo, PhD (Honoris Causa) in Mathematics Education; and Dr Aluko Martins Olukunle, PhD (Honoris Causa) in Road Safety Management.
